Privacy Policy for AlphaLog

AlphaLog ("the app") is developed by AlphaLog. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

Data Storage

All trade data, journal entries, and settings you enter into AlphaLog are stored locally on your device only. AlphaLog does not operate a server or database that stores your personal trading data, and we do not have access to it. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes this data unless you've exported a backup (Settings > Export CSV).

Third-Party Services

AlphaLog uses the following third-party services to power specific features:

• Anthropic (Claude API): When you use the Screenshot Quick Fill or AI Performance Review features, the relevant screenshot image or a summary of your trade data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. This data is subject to Anthropic's own privacy policy. We do not store this data ourselves.
• Frankfurter Exchange Rate API: To support currency conversion, the app requests live exchange rates from a public, free currency API. No personal or trade data is sent — only currency codes.

We do not use advertising networks, analytics/tracking SDKs, or sell any data to third parties.

Permissions

AlphaLog may request camera/photo library access (to attach trade screenshots) and notification permissions (for reminders). These are used solely for their stated purpose within the app.

Children's Privacy

AlphaLog is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 13.

Your Choices

Since all data is stored locally, you have full control — export it anytime via CSV, or delete it by removing individual trades or uninstalling the app.
